Bet's B & B - Sydney

Bet's Bed and Breakfast is a large, two-level artist-style studio with exposed brick walls, timber flooring and high-arched timber beam ceiling.

Upstairs, the open-space living area - 51 sq. metres (548 sq. feet) - includes a kitchenette, dining and lounge areas, a Queen-size bed and writing desk.

Downstairs, the bathroom/toilet - 5.3 sq. metres (57 sq.feet) - is for the guests' exclusive use and includes a washing machine and a dryer.

Bet's Bed and Breakfast is a quiet and comfortable hideaway with private street entrance. It's light and airy, spacious and clean. There is a modern kitchenette, spotless bathroom and a full laundry.

Close to public transport, Bet's B & B is just 15 minutes by bus or light rail to Sydney's CBD and a three-minute stroll to Annandale Village shopping centre with its many restaurants, cafes and shops.

Breakfast ingredients are provided. The fully-equipped kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, twin-electric cook top, griller, toaster and jug, as well as a four-seat dining table.

For your comfort, there is a spacious lounge suite, a Queen-size bed, reverse cycle air-conditioning, a television, DVD and radio. And for your convenience, there is a writing desk, a wardrobe and a four-drawer cabinet.

The bathroom has all your needs: a spacious tiled shower, vanity basin, a mirror, hair dryer, toilet, a pullout clothes dryer for small items, and a washing machine and a dryer.

Easy and quick transport to the city

Regular bus and Light Rail services take you to the heart of Sydney within 15 minutes.

The 470 bus, five minutes' walk from Bet's B&B, takes you through Broadway's shopping and student areas, past the city's Central Railway Station, Chinatown, the cinema and restaurant strip, Sydney's Town Hall, the department store shopping hub (including the majestic Queen Victoria Building), and terminates at Circular Quay at Sydney Harbour.

From there, the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, the historic Rocks area, and the Botanic Gardens are just a five minute walk away. Or catch a ferry to Taronga Park Zoo, Darling Harbour, Manly, Watsons Bay or choose one of the many ferries that explore Sydney's beautiful harbour.

The light rail service to the city is a 10 minute walk from Bet's B&B. It travels through suburban Glebe, past Sydney's famous fish market (where you can stop for lunch), and has stops at the Crown Casino and Darling Harbour (Maritime Museum, Sydney Acquarium, Exhibition and Convention Centres and restaurants), Chinatown, Entertainment Centre and Central Railway Station.
